Hi friends,

Today’s recipe likely needs no introduction. It’s ice cream that your kids—and you—can eat for breakfast (or whenever the heck else you want to). No fancy ingredients, no crazy equipment beyond a simple ol’ food processor, it comes together in 10 minutes or less and it gets eaten—and in the routine-less, treat-ful days of summer, what else could you possibly need?

A cookbook! Huzzah! We are so grateful and excited for the opportunity to write the Green Spoon Family Kitchen. In the coming months we’ll be assembling a merry band of recipe testers, comprised of both breezy, confident cooks and those of you who might feel a little nervous in the kitchen. If that sounds at all interesting to you, please fill out this quick form—we want to stress test all of our recipes with other people who are cooking for kids!
